يأتي هذا الكتاب استجابة لحاجة مكتبتنا العربية إلى مؤلفات تطرح نماذج تطبيقية لنخبة من الوثائق الرسمية والعقود القانونية المدنية والتجارية والحجج الشرعية الدارجة في التعاملات وترجماتها القانونية إلى الإنجليزية هذا الإسهام العلمي المتواضع يرمي إلى مساعدة المترجمين والمحامين وذوي العلاقة على ترجمة الوثائق الرسمية والنصوص العقدية والحجج الشرعية المتعارف عليها محليا من العربية إلى الإنجليزية، واستخدام المصطلحات والصيغ القانونية المناسبة لكل نص، كما يقدم الكتاب نماذج قانونية حية يمكن للمترجمين والمحامين والمعنيين استنساخ بعضها وهي نماذج حالة وغير مكلفة من شأنها أن تيسر القيام ببعض المعاملات النظامية والشرعية، خاصة لدى عرب المهجر والمواطنين، الراغبين بإرسال عقود ووكالات ومصدقات رسمية وحجج شرعية إلى الخارج.
