يعتبر كتاب الذرية الطاهرة تأليف \"الحافظ أبي بشر محمد بن أحمد بن سعد الرازي الدوالبي (224هـ-310هـ) من كتب الحديث التي أوليها المحدثون دراسة ورواية ودراسة متنا وإسنادا جيلا بعد جيل، وذلك لأصالة الموضوع ومكانة المؤلف، ونسخة الأصل لهذه الطبعة تعتبر من نفائس المخطوطات التي لم تر النور بعد، والتي تدارسها المحدثون وعلقوا عليها قراءتهم وأسانيدهم طبقة بعد طبقي، وقدر لنا لهذه النسخة أن تداولها أيدي المحدثين والرواة في دمشق والشام في القرن السابع ثم تنتقل إلى المغرب الإسلامي ونحفظ، وبين طيات الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا نسخة محققة من الذرية الطاهرة.
