هناك مشكلتان كبيرتان تثيرهما الرواية اليهودية كما تعكسها كتب التاريخ اليهودي حول قصة بني إسرائيل الأولى تتعلق بزمن الأحداث والثانية تتعلق بالمسرح الجغرافي، لقد ابتسروا الزمن واختصروا المسرح وقدموا رواية زائفة صاروا أسرى لها عاجزين عن تجاوزها لمعانقة الحقيقة، لان كل تجاوز لها من شأنه أن يؤثر على مصداقية النص الذي اعتمدوه أنه القدس.
