تناول الكتاب هذا أبرز الشخصيات الكربلائية خلال الفترة (1920-2020) التي كان لها الأثر الواضح في الحياة اليومية الكربلائية ممن لهم لمسات في إثراء الفكر الإنساني بأعمالهم ، كل في اختصاصه، ممن لا يختلف عليهم أثنان، والذين خصص لإبداعهم هذا الكتاب الذي تناولنا فيه نحو (90) شخصية من الأموات الذين هم حاضرين في قلوبنا، ومن الأحياء الذين ما يزالون ينثرون عطر حسن سيرتهم وعبق إبداعهم في أرجاء المعمورة. ولا يقتصر الكتاب على شخصيات عاشت في كربلاء وإنما هناك الكثير من المبدعين عاشوا وسكنوا في المدن العراقية أو خارج البلاد، لكن يربطهم رابط واحد ألا وهو الانتماء لمدينة كربلاء المقدسة وإن باعدت بينهم البحار والمحيطات.
