Overview
ظلت نجد تمثل أهمية خاصة في الجزيرة العربية وكانت الإدارة العثمانية ممثلة في والي جدة وشريف مكة يدركان ذلك ولذا فإن العلاقات السعودية العثمانية خلال فترة الدولة السعودية الثانية وبالتحديد منذ عام 1840 / 1256 هـ وهي فترة انتهاء الحكم المصري المباشر على نجد ولكن ضمن علاقات شابها الكثير من التوتر والقليل من حالة االهدوء مع الدولة العثمانية وتنتهي فترة الدولة السعودية الثانية عل 13077/ 1891 على يد الدولة العثمانية وبأسباب أخرى مختلفة.
