لقد حاولت في هذه الدراسة النقدية عن سعد الله ونوس وأعماله المسرحية-ولو بإيجاز-أن أفيه بعض حقه، وقليلا مما يستحق في وجداننا وفكرنا. لقد دافع ونوس في كتاباته كافة، خاصة المسرحية منها، عن الثقافة مؤكدا دورها الأساسي في التقدم، فكان يرى أن الثقافة اليوم تشكل الجبهة الرئيسية لمواجهة الظلم والاستغلال في كل كان، وأنها قادرة على الرد على العولمة الأنانية والخالية من أي بعد إنساني، لأن الثقافة يمكنها أن تبلور المواقف النقدية، التي تعري ما يحدث، وتكشف آلياته، وهي أيضا التي يمكن أن تعين الإنسان على استعادة إنسانيته، وأن تقترح عليه الأفكار والمثل التي تجعله أكثر حرية ووعيا وجمالا.
