الناس في الماضي قبل اختراع السيارات والطائرات كانوا يسافرون بقوافل الجمال، وفي أثناء ذلك لا يسيرون في خط مستقيم، وإنما يسيرون وفقا لمعطيات الطريق، يعترضهم جبل عال فيلتقون من حولة ويسمعون بوجود قطاع طرق أمامهم فياخذون طريقا آخر ويسيرون بمنأى عنهم. ويبلغون إلى بئر من المتوقع أن يوجد فيها الماء. فيجدونها جافة ويشقون طريقهم نحو بئر أخرى، ومن كل ذلك كانوا ينجحون في الوصول إلى مكانهم المنشود. وكذلك نجاحنا الفردي يحتاج منا الإرادة القوية والإصرار على الوصول بأي ثمن، ونحرر أنفسنا من قيود النزعة التساهلية وتوقفنا الدفين إلى الفضاءات الوردية السهلة ونتعلم لغة الأرض ذات الطرقات الوعرة والصحاري الشاقة.
