هكذا يدخل هذا الكتاب بأسلوبه الحواري الرشيق في مناقشة وتحليل موضوعات قلما نوقشت بهذه الشمولية في الفلسفة العربية ؛ فيدخل من قضية اللباس إلى قضايا فلسفية متعددة، منها قضايا الذات والجسد والأنا، وقضايا العري والجمال والسعادة، والقيم والأخلاق، والثقافة والفن، والمساواة بين الجنسين مركزا هذا الحوار على بعض الأمور ومكتفيا أحيانا بالإشارة وبالإيحاء إلى أمور أخرى : يجمع موضوع اللباس في هذا النص الحواري المستجد في أعمال ناصيف نصار بين ثلاثة أبعاد على الأقل : اللباس في بعده الاجتماعي واللباس في بعده الفردي واللباس في بعده السوقي السلعي، فيتسع الحوار في ما بين هذه الأبعاد ليناقش قضية اللباس والعري انطلاقا من الإشكاليات الكبرى التي طالما ناقشها ناصيف نصار وحللها وفي مقدمتها إشكالية التكامل والتصارع بين فردية الإنسان واجتماعيته التي تبنى عليها إشكالية أخرى لها علاقة بحرية الإنسان الفرد وحدود هذه الحرية في بعدها الاجتماعي.
