لقد كتب هذا البحث وفاء لأرض العراق وفي وقت نسب الكثير مما أنجز العراقيين القدماء إلى غيرهم وبأسماء مزيفة وغربية، لقد توجه هذا البحث لإيضاح فكرة أن العراق ومفكريه الأوائل كانت لهم وجهة نظر فلسفية وعقلية كانت رائدة في ذلك الزمن الموغل في القدم، لقد كانت لهم وجهة نظر فلسفية، حيث امتاز الإنسان بقوته العاقلة المدركة ولاحظ ظواهر الكون واختلافها وعلاقتها به فكون فيها رأيا ثم راح يبحث عن عللها وهو بذلك قد تفلسف بمعنى أنه حاول أن يبحث عن حقيقة الأشياء والوصول إلى موقف أخلاقيا واجتماعيا وإنسانيا يزيل خوفه.
