يوثق الكتاب الصادر عن ذات السلاسل دور وفد الكويت الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة خلال حدثين مهمين جدا في مسيرة الكويت وأمنها واستقرارها، وهما الحرب العراقية الإيرانية، والغزو العراقي الغاشم سواء في مجلس الأمن أو الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة. يوزع الكتاب محتوى الإصدار على 4 أقسام، إذ خصص القسم الأول لقبول الكويت عضوا في الأمم المتحدة عام 1963، أما القسم الثاني فجاء بعنوان : الحرب العراقية الإيرانية، والثالث بعنوان : الغزو العراقي لدولة الكويت عام 1990، في حين حمل القسم الرابع عنوان : مناقشة قضية العدوان العراقي على دولة الكويت في الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة.
