كتاب تعليم التفكير الفلسفي والسياق الثقافي العربي : أي دور للمعطلات الثقافية ؟ مقدمات في الحداثات التطبيقية، ألفه محسن بن الحطاب التومي، منطلقا من معايشة لصيقة للشأن الفلسفي، تعلما وتعليما وإشرافا بيداغوجيا وبحثا علميا، امتدت ثلاثة عقود، ومعتمدا على مقاربة كيفية تخاصصية متداخلة المناهج، لينتهي إلى أن المشكلة ليست في الفلسفة ذاتها بقدر ما هي في السياق والوسائط، فالنصوص التأسيسية لهذه الثقافة العربية تنخرط بوضوح في تثمين العقل والنظر والتأمل والاعتبار، لكن الممارسات التطبيقية تكشف عن خشية وتظنن واحتراس في التعامل مع الفلسفة والتفلسف والفلاسفة، يعود بدوره إلى توتر تاريخي في العلاقة بين العقل والنقل، وبين الحكمة والشريعة، وبين الفلسفة والدين.
