جاء في هذه الرواية : جاء نانابوش، وكان الخالق قد أمره بإعادة الصبي للحياة، فصنع كوخ وغطاه، وأوقد نارا، وجمع اثني عشر حجرا وسجنهم حتى أحمر لونهم. وضع نانابوش جسم الصبي في الكوخ، مع الأحجار الساخنة، وأغلق الباب. توهجت الأحجار بقوة في الظلام، وسكب نانابوش الماء عليها فأطلقت الكثير من البخار الذي استدعى قوة الخالق والأرواح لمساعدته. وكما لو كانت الأحجار هي جسد الصبي، والنار هي ناره الداخلية، والماء دمه، والبخار أنفاسه، حضرت الروح المقدسة، فأعادت الجدة الحارسة روح الصبي لجسده، وبعث حيا مرة أخرى، صحيحا معافى.\"
