حاول المؤلف في هذا الكتاب أن يكون واضحا بقدر الإمكان حتى يتسنى للقارئ غير المتخصص الإطلاع عليه وفهم ما ورد فيه من أفكار، ولكن رغم هذا التبسيط الغير مخل بالنص الفلسفي، كان دقيقا بحيث أنه لم يغض الطرف عن أي فكرة من أفكار هؤلاء الفلاسفة بحجة غموضها الذي يستعصى على الفهم، أيضا هذه المواضيع المعروضة في هذا الكتاب-بالرغم من وضوحها-تتميز بالعمق لأنها لم تهمل الكثير من الأفكارالدقيقة.
