الكتابة عن غازي القصيبي ضرب من التنوع كضرباته بفرشاة الإبداع التي نثر ألوانها على مدى لخمسين عاما، أي منذ أن أصدر ديوانه الأول أشعار من جزائر اللؤلؤ في العام 1960، وعمره لا يزال عشرينيا يجري يسابق الأيام، وحتى توفاه الله حينما خط قصيدته الرثائية في آخر الأشهر قبل وفاته في 2010 القطيف خمسون عاما، خاض القصيبي فيها كل البحار، فاصطاد شعراً، وأبحر ،رواية، وواجه أمواج الفكر والإدارة. وهو إلى ذلك كان الطالب والأستاذ، والعميد، فالوزير والسفير والوزير من جديد حتى استرد الله تعالى أمانته، بعد أن ترك فينا كما مهما من الآثار المقروءة ولمن عرفه عن قرب يدرك أن غازي القصيبي ترك أيضا ترانا عظيما لم يدون من المحطات والمواقف والكلمات والتصرفات في كل المواقف يحفظها ويرددها من عمل معه وتعامل وكأننا بالقصيبي الرجل المناسب في كل مكان.
