يشتمل هذا الكتاب على سبعة فصول يشمل كل فصل على أمثلة مختلفة وتمارين متنوعة يتضمن الفصل الأول على المعادلات الخطية وطرق حلها وجزء كبير من خواصها إضافة لدراسة المصفوفات وخواصها الجبرية المهمة، والثاني يتناول دراسة المحددات وطرق إيجادها، والثالث يتناول دراسة المتجهات في فضاء البعد الثاني وفضاء البعد الثالث وبشيء من التفصيل لما درسه الطالب حول مفاهيم المستقيمات والمستويات، ويبحث الرابع في فضاء المتجهات الإقليدية والتحويلات الخطية من Rn إلى Rm ودراسة خواصها أما الفصل الخامس فيغطي مفاهيم فضاء المتجهات العام الحقيقي، والفصل السادس يتناول مفهوم فضاء الضرب الداخلي مع دراسة بعض من خواصه الهندسية أما الفصل السابع والأخير يتعلق فهو يتعلق بدراسة القيم الذاتية والمتجهات الذاتية المرافقة لها وكذلك دراسة أقطره المصفوف.
