كانا صديقين يأكلان ويشربان ويذاكران معا إحدهما كان سليل عائلة ثرية والآخر كان من أسرة متواضعة فقيرة وجمعتهما الدراسة بكلية الهندسة وتخرج الأثنان الجامعة وعندما تقدم الفقير لطلب يد أخت صديقه الغني كان نصيبه الإهانة والطرد. كان ذنبه الوحيد أن أسرته لا تنتسب إلى حسب أو نسب .. وليس في خزائنها مال أو جواهر. وهاجر إلى أمريكا وعاد بعد سنوات طويلة معه المال والثروة وجراح في القلب لا يشفيها غير نار الانتقام .. ولم يجد من يصب عليه انتقامه غير حبيبته السابقة .. بعد إن دارت الأيام دورتها .. وصارت عائلتها فقيرة لا تملك قوت يومها .. فهل يشفي الانتقام .. جراح القلب ؟
