يحكي الشاب عبد الله بن مجري القحطاني عن تجربته في التطوع وخدمة المجتمع التي بدأها في هذا العالم منذ 7 سنين. يقول عبد الله في مقدمة كتابة : أضع بين يدي القارئ بعضا مما في جعبتي من حروف وكلمات مرسومة علي الأسطر تحكي تجربتيي مع التطوع وخدمة المجتمع متسائلا : مالتطوع ؟ وماذا وجد فيه ؟ ولماذا العمل التطوعي ؟ وماهي الفائدة المرجوة منه ؟. وقدم بعض القصص من المواقف التي صادفها كاشفا عن المشاعر التي انتلابته اثناء تطوعه وعبر مجموعه من الفصول قدم عبد الله للقارئ مفهوم التطوع في القرآن والسنة، وحكي عن تجربته من المشاركة الي المبادرة التطوعيه في عدة مجالات منها خدمة حجاج بيت الله الحرام.
