في هذا الكتاب، جمعت مقالات للقصيبي كانت سجالية مع بعض رجال الصحوة في السعودية مثال عائض القرني، العمر، وسلمان العودة و ناصر العمر الذين استخدموا الاشرطة الصوتية كوسيلة سجال كالعادة، حكمة وفكر وصراحة لا تترك مجالا للشبهة في صفاء ونقاء نفسه، وفي ثبات مبدأه الذي تعودته منذ عرفت بوجوده من الكتاب : عندما قلت أن الفتوى في مسائل الاجتهاد تتغير بتغير الزمان أصيب بعض قومنا بالهلع، وصعق بعض إخوتنا، وهم في ذلك معذورون.
