إن هذا الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا \"معجم أسماء مكة\"، يعتبر من أهم الكتب التي كتبت وألفت عن مكة المكرمة لأنه يحتوي ولأول مرة على أكبر عدد للأسماء التي أطلقت على هذه المدينة الأكثر شهرة وتقديسا وحرمة بين كل مدن العالم القديم والحديث مكة المشرفة ونحن إذ يشرفنا أن نطبع وننشر هذا الكتاب فإننا نثمن المجهود الخارق لمؤلفه الأستاذ / عبد الله الأبح الزهراني والذي صدر له عدة مؤلفات منها : (الألم \"حكمته-تاريخه-فوائده\") ورواية (عقلاء في الأرحام) والتي شرفنا أيضا بطباعتها وهذه هي الطبعة الثانية من هذا الكتاب وهي طبعة منقحة ومزيدة بأسماء جديدة لمكة المكرمة حيث إن الطبعة الأولى بها فقط مائة وتسعة أسماء أما هذا الكتاب فيزيد عن المائة وخمسين إسما لمكة المكرمة. وكاتبنا أيضا يكتب بصفة دورية في مجلة مكة والصادرة عن مشروع تعظيم البلد الحرام وأيضا ناشط في مجال توعية مرضى الألم المزمن.
