Overview
الدلافين من الحيوانات الثديية البحرية وهي تتكاثر بالولادة، حيث تقوم الإناث بتغذية صغارها من أثدائها تعيش الدلافين في منطقتنا البحرية، وكثيرا ما تلاحق السفن المبحرة في الخليج لمسافات كبيرة. ومن أكثر أنواع الدلافين شيوعا في مياه الخليج النوع المسمى تورسيوبس أدونكس \"وهو قريب في شكله من الدلفين قاروري الأنف الذي يعيش بكثرة في المحيط الأطلسي لقد عرفت الدلافين بصداقتها للبحارة والغواصين منذ القدم وهي من الحيوانات القابلة للتدريب وأداء بعض الحركات في عروض السيرك وغيرها.
