في هذا الكتاب (سيرورتي) يدون العميد السابق بجامعة البترول والمعادن في المملكة العربية السعودية الدكتور إبراهيم عباس نتو في عدد من الفصول والمقالات، فيسرد أحداثا عايشها منذ مولده في حارة الباب ونشأته بجبل عمر في مكة المكرمة، وبدء دراسته في الكتاب ثم في مدرسة الفلاح بحارة الشبيكة ؛ ثم دراسته الجامعية والعليا بجامعة تكساس في أميركا. وكذلك عن عمله في وزارة المعارف / التعليم، بالرياض وفي جامعة البترول والمعادن بالظهران وجامعة البحرين، ويذكر بعضا من مساهماته الاجتماعية، مثل بداية إنشاء «مدرسة الظهران الأهلية» في المنطقة الشرقية وعن مدارس جامعة البترول والمعادن، وكذلك «جمعية البر» فيها، ويسرد كذلك بعض أحواله الاجتماعية / العائلية ؛ فضلا عن بعض الأحداث التي مر بها في سفراته حول العالم مثل فقد الزمام في أمستردام، وفي هذه السيرة عينة مما كتبه من قصائد وذكريات نشرها في أكثر من صحيفة وكتاب.
