يحاول هذا الكتاب الوقوف على تداولية الخطاب التفسيري بصفة عامة وبصفة خاصة ؛ كما يدعي الكتاب أن المقاربة التداولية تملك أدوات يمكنها من بعث تفاسير القدامى من جديد، فكان میدان هذا الإدعاء \"جامع البيان عن تأويل أي القرآن\" بوصفه تفسيرا متكاملا وخطابا له مكانة بين خطابات التفسير، فقد عمد الكتاب إلى البحث عن القصدية والمرادية في خطابه انطلاقا من أن المؤلف له أهمية كبيرة في تفسير النص ؛ ثم عرج على الحجاجية التداولية لهذا الخطاب، مبينا إستراتيجيته الظاهرة والخفية، كما أظهر البحث توظيف السياق من المفسر وأثره في فهم معان الآيات، وفي ختامه عدد مجاري التأويل بوصفه آلية تداولية.
