نشرت هذه المذكرات في عشرينات القرن الماضي، كما يخبرنا صاحبها المعلم عبد العزيز النص الذي وهب حياته للنشل في مصر المحروسة، وكانت حياته بها تفاصيل مثيرة، مليئة بأسرار عالم النشالين في ذلك الزمن.. وقد أثارت المذكرات ضجة كبيرة عند نشرها؛ حيث كانت تمثل اعترافات حقيقية تنشر لأول مرة في كتاب مصري لنشال سابق قبل أن يتطهر من حياته، ويبدأ مرحلة مختلفة تماما من الحياة، وتظل هذه المذكرات من أكثر الكتابات غرائبية في الأرشيف الصحفي العربي، وتمثل مواقف طريفة أحيانا وغريبة أحيانا أخرى.. والرجل أراد أن تخلد ذكراه حتى ولو كان في تاريخ النشل والنشالين!.
