تضمن الكتاب المكون من 140 صفحة من الحجم المتوسط مجموعة من المقالات وخواطر في رثاء الفقيد وشهادات من تعايشوا مع الفقيد في عدة مراحل بدءا بالمرحلة الدراسية وبعدها المرحلة الجامعية والمهنية فضلا عن فترة الاعتقال التي امتدت ثماني سنوات من أغسطس 1975 حتى ديسمبر 1983 ؛ أيضا احتوى الكتاب على مجموعة صور توثق لعدة مراحل وفعاليات، منها على سبيل الذكر لا الحصر المؤتمر التأسيسي للاتحاد الوطني لطلبة البحرين الذي عقد في دمشق، فبراير 1972.
