هي أحداث حقيقية في حقبة زمنية ما بين 1930 و1954 في إمارة الشارقة وفريج المريجة تحديدا. تتناول أحداث ما قبل اكتشاف البترول وآخر رحلات الغوص وحتى بعد الطفرة والتطور، وما حدث بعد اكتشاف البترول وقبل قيام الاتحاد لدولة الإمارات. تدور الأحداث حول عائلات سكنت في تلك الحقبة كانت تربطها روابط أسرية وصداقة وجيرة طيبة أحداث تاريخية حقيقية قد حدثت بالفعل، وما كان وقعها وصداها على حياة أهالي الفريج ؟ وكيف كانت معاناتهم ؟ وكيف واجهوا الصعاب ؟ وكيف تصرفوا في تلك الأيام الصعبة والفقر المدقع ؟ والتي هي أقرب إلى نسج الخيال، أحداث حدثت تحسبها غير واقعية، ولكنها قد حدثت وقد أضفت بعض الأحداث غير الحقيقية للحبكة الدرامية لن تستطيع تمييزها عن الحقيقية، وقد غيرت جميع أسماء الشخصيات الحقيقية حفاظا على خصوصية الأشخاص المعنيين، وحذفت بعض الشخصيات الهامشية والتي لم يكن لها دور فعال في الأحداث الماضية.
