هذا الكتاب يتناول دراسة في اللغة تناول فيها المؤلف أهمية اللغة العربية وخصائصها وميزاتها من خلال البحث والتقصي في بطون الكتب المختصة ككتب اللغة والمعاجم ودواوين الشعر وكتب التفسير وبين ما انفردت به اللغة العربية وتناول موضوع الأتساع اللغوي في لغة الضاد، وعليه فقد انتظم كتابه في فصلين، فكان الفصل الأول : فيما انفردت به لغة العرب، أما الفصل الثاني : فدار حول الاتساع اللغوي ثم كانت الخاتمة، التي تضمنت أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها الباحث.
