\"الإقتصاد في الاعتقاد\" هو كتاب للإمام الغزالي زين الدين، حجة الإسلام، أبو حامد محمد بن محمد بن محمد بن أحمد الطوسي الشافعي. حيث يعرض الغزالي مسألة الإيمان والتكفير. ويرى أن الإيمان إسم مشترك لثلاث معان هي التصديق البرهاني، والاعتقاد التقليدي، والتصديق مع العمل. وعرفه بأنه تصديق النبي في جميع ما جاء به. بينما عرف الكفر بأنه تكذيب النبي في بعض ما جاء به. وبصدد التكفير يلاحظ الغزالي مبالغات وتعصبات الفرق الإسلامية وما انتهى إليه بعضها من تكفير الفرق الأخرى، ويقول أن أصول الإيمان ثلاثة هي الإيمان بالله ورسوله واليوم الآخر، وما عداه فروع.
