هذه أربعون حديثا منيرة في فضائل القرآن الكريم وفضل تلاوته جمعها العلامة علي القاري الهروي على عادة العلماء في جمع أربعين حديثا في موضوع ما ابتغاء للأجر والثواب والملاحظ أن المؤلف انتقى غالب هذه الأحاديث إن لم يكن كلها من الترغيب والترهيب للمنذري والجامع الصغير للسيوطي. وقد قام المحقق بنسخ الرسالة وضبط نصها. وخرج أحاديثها وإن كان فيها ضعفا بينه بنقل كلام أهل هذا الشأن. كما شرح غريب الحديث مع زيادة بعض التعليقات بيانا المراد من الحديث وذلك في بعض المواطن. وقد قدم لها بمقدمة لطيفة عرف فيها بالرسالة على جه الإجمال.
