Overview
غزوة أحد هي معركة وقعت بين المسلمين وقبيلة قريش في يوم السبت السابع من شهر شوال في العام الثالث للهجرة. بين جيش المسلمين بقيادة الرسول محمد، وقبيلة قريش بقيادة أبي سفيان بن حرب. غزوة أحد هي ثاني غزوة كبيرة يخوضها المسلمون، حيث حصلت بعد عام واحد من غزوة بدر. وسميت بهذا الاسم نسبة إلى جبل أحد بالقرب من المدينة المنورة، الذي وقعت الغزوة على أحد السفوح الجنوبية له.
