تناولت هذه الرسالة دور الأحكام الجنائية لحماية حرية الأفراد في إطار تكنولوجيا التقنيات الحديثة، ومع تقدم التقنيات الحديثة التي أصبحت تمس بدائرة الحقوق الخاصة بالأفراد ولا سيما حق الحياة الخاصة، حيث يعد نشر الأخبار والصور عبر الشبكة المعلوماتية نوعا من العلنية، التي يشترطها المشرع كركن في بعض الجرائم. ونظرا لخطورة هذه الممارسات، وطبيعتها، تدخل المشرع الإماراتي بتجريم أفعال الاعتداء على المبادئ والقيم الأسرية، أو نشر صور أو أخبار تتصل بحرمة الحياة الخاصة أو العائلية للأفراد، والتي تستخدم في ارتكابها الشبكة المعلوماتية أو إحدى وسائل تقنية المعلومات.
