هذا كتاب جعله مؤلفه من ثلاثة أجزاء الأول منها : خصصها لترجمة الشيخ \"محمد الطاهر ابن عاشور\"، وبيان حركته الإصلاحية، والحديث عن مؤلفاته. والثاني ساير مقاصد الشريعة مضيفا إليها جملة من البحوث الأصولية لما يوجد بينها من علاقة وفصل الحديث عن منهجه في جملة ما وقف عليه من تحاريرة العلمية والثالث : هو كتاب مقاصد الشريعة المتميزة بمسائله وبحوثه، وهكذا تم تحقيق هذا الكتاب أي المقاصد ونشره بعد إقامة نصه، والتقديم له والتعليق عليه، طمعا في أن يكون أمره ميسورا على من يقف عليه من الطلاب والمراجعين والدارسين.
