هذا الكتاب دليل خاص بالأعمال الفنية لنخبة من الفنانين التشكيليين العمانيين والتي يضمها معرض الفنون التشكيلية. وهي تضم أعمال من جيل المؤسسين الذين ظهروا في العقد السابع من القرن الماضي والأجيال الفنية التي أعقبتهم لاحقا، وممن لهم إسهامات بارزة، وحملوا راية الفن التشكيلي العماني. حيث تسعى الوزارة إلى التعريف بهؤلاء الفنانين وإبداعاتهم الفنية، بغية إبرازها وإيصالها إلى شرائح المجتمع كافة، إيمانا من الوزارة بتعزيز الهوية التشكيلية العمانية وتحقيقا للأهداف التي تنشدها في دعم مسيرة الفن.
