إن الكتاب الموسوم بـ (لا تستكن..رتحديات هي الحياة) هو عبارة عن سيرة رجل عصامي شق طريقه في الحياة وصنع نفسه بإرادته وجهوده الذاتية، وهو يختزل السيرة في حكايات قصيرة يسردها من واقع التحديات التي واجهها والتجارب التي مر بها. في الأربعينيات من القرن الماضي جاء صاحبنا إلى الدنيا وعاش في إحدى قرى البحرين، توفي والده قبل أن يتم الرابعة من عمره ولم يكن له من يرعاه سوى أمه، وبدأ العمل وهو في سن العاشرة حيث اتسم بالصمود والجهاد في حياته. وبعد التخرج من المدرسة الإبتدائية عمل لمدة 13 سنة متواصلة من أجل إعانة أسرته.
