هذا الكتاب يوضح إن ديمقراطية التعليم ليست فقط في تعميمه بل في القضاء على التفاوت الاجتماعي والطبقي بحيث يتمكن أبناء الطبقات الكادحة والفقراء من أستخدام المدرسة والجامعة والوصول إلى المعرفة التي خصت الطبقة المسيطرة أبناءها بها وذلك يتطلب ضمن ما يتطلب هدم السدود التي تحصر هذا التعليم في أبناء الطبقة المسيطرة وتمنعه عن الطبقات الكادحة أي يوضع الجامعة في هذه الطبقات وأبنائها وهذا يتطلب إعادة نظر جذرية في البناء الطبقي لنظام التعليم القائم في مصر.
