Overview
يشير بوبس في الكتاب إلى أن محسن انضم إلى الفرقة السورية للتمثيل والموسيقا، فشهد انطلاقة فنية كبيرة جعلت منه نجما كبيرا على الصعيد السوري والعربي في مجالي التمثيل والتأليف الدرامي، وقد ظل الكاتب الوحيد لأعمال الفرقة السورية للتمثيل والموسيقا منذ انضمامه إليها مطلع الخمسينيات من القرن العشرين حتى رحيله عام 1968 وتوزعت مؤلفاته للفرقة إلى قسمين : القسم الأول : ضم التمثيليات الإذاعية التي قدمتها الفرقة عبر أثير إذاعة دمشق وإذاعة الشرق الأدنى التي كان مقرها في قبرص، والقسم الثاني : تضمن المسرحيات والتمثيليات التي قدمتها الفرقة على المسرح، ويبين بوبس في الكتاب أن حكمت محسن توقف تماما عن كتابة وتقديم المونولوجات بشكل نهائي بعد انضمامه للفرقة.
