(مسرحية النهر) مسرحية شعرية غنائية للأطفال ترمز في قصتها إلى الاحتلال الصهيوني لأرضنا العربية، وإلى العدوان والطغيان، و تحض دون أن تصرخ على مقاومة هذه الشرور والقضاء على الأشرار في شعر جزل منمنم، يخاطب حس الطفل بمثل براءته، و بمثل ما يراد للبراءة أن تعي ذاتها فتتحول عبر الوعي إلى فهم للخير فتعمل به لنفسها ولغيرها، وإلى فهم للشر فتعمل لتدفعه عن نفسها وغيرها. إن طفل اليوم هو شاب الغد ورجل المستقبل وما أحوج هذا الطفل إلى الغذاء الفكري الكريم، وما أحوج المكتبة العربية إلى كتب الأطفال التي تنمي فيهم حب المطالعة، وروح الثقافة، وسعة الإدراك ولعل هذه المسرحية الجميلة كالطفولة إن تكون عطاء تتبعه عطاءات في هذا السبيل.
