صدر للكاتب والصحفي زيد محمود علي كتاب من القطع المتوسط بعنوان : مفاهيم وطرق تعليمية للصحفي الناجح يقع الكتاب في (84) صفحة تضمنت إفتتاحية الكتاب إهداء إلى الشعب المصري المناضل والمكافح في حياته، وتخللت على مقدمة بقلمه عن دور المؤسسات الإعلامية عامة والصحفية خاصة حيث لمح أهم شيء ركز عليه هو تناول المسألة الفنية في مجال الصحافة والصحفي الذي يروم الحصول على النجاح والعمل في الصحافة المعاصرة هو أن يطلع على جميع فنونها دون الإقتصار على إسلوب واحد في التعليم. وقد تطرق في كتابه أيضا عن الإمبراطوريات الخالدة ومن هو الصحفي والثقافة العامة وكيفية ممارسة الصحفي الكتابة وما هي الإستعدادات المطلوبة لممارسي مهنة الصحافة من الناحية الميدانية والمؤهلات الشخصية الأساسية للصحفي إضافة إلى تعريف الخبر وكيفية كتابة المانشيت والعنوان.
