وفي كتاب )الشاعر محمد كامل صالح( الصادر مؤخرا عن الهيئة العامة السورية للكتاب ؛ والذي أع ده نزيه خوري وإسماعيل مروة، فيما اختارت نصوصه خلود أحمد رسول، يذكر المعدون ؛ إن محمد كامل صالح ولد في قرية القلعة التابعة لمنطقة الدريكيش، ويتحدر من أسرة أدبية ذات وزن في العلم، وضاربة جذورها في الشعر، فوالده الشيخ كامل صالح ديب أحمد معروف، وأمه الشاعرة العالمة المعروفة ب“فتاة غسان“ الشاعرة فاطمة سليمان األحمد)1908-1985م (التي ربيت في بيت الشيخ سليمان المتنور والمصلح االجتماعي، كما يعتبر جده ألمه ع المة الجبل في عصره أدب ا ولغة وفقها وفلسفة، وهو أحد مؤسسي المجمع العلمي بدمشق، وكان يلقب بالقاموس الحي لغزارة حفظه وقوة استدعائه لمعارف عصره، وله المكانة الروحية بين عوائل جبال الساحل السوري.. وخاله)بدوي الجبل(الشاعر الذائع الصيت والشهرة.
