\"العاصفة\" لإيميه سيزار هي إعادة صياغة لمسرحية \"العاصفة\" الشهيرة لشكسبير، ولكنها تحمل طابعا خاصا يعكس تجارب سيزار الشخصية وثقافته الكاريبية. تدور أحداث المسرحية حول بروسبيرو، الدوق المخلوع من ميلانو، الذي يعيش في جزيرة نائية مع ابنته ميراندا. يستخدم بروسبيرو السحر لاستدعاء عاصفة تجلب أعداءه إلى الجزيرة، حيث يخطط للانتقام منهم. ومع تقدم الأحداث، تتطور العلاقات بين الشخصيات وتظهر مواضيع مثل الاستعمار والحرية والعدالة.
