Overview
الحوار في مسرح ميخائيل رومان يحقق وظيفته الدرامية، ونادرا ما يشهد هذا الحوار نقاط ضعف وترهل. ولعل الاستثناء الوحيد من هذا الحكم هو مسرحية «ليلة مصرع جيفارا العظيم»، التي مال الحوار فيها إلى المباشرة الخطابية والسطحية. والمتأمل في مسرح رومان عموما يرى أن التشاؤم يهيمن على أجواء مسرحيته «الوافد» و«الخطاب». بينما يرى أن الانفراج والأمل والانتصار يخيم على باقي أعماله بل ويسكنها. على أن النهايات المتفائلة عنده والتي تميل إلى التبشير، تبدو ضعيفة وغير مقنعة، هذا إذا لم تكن زائفة وملفقة.
