يرصد كتاب \"عبد الله عبد القاص المنسي\" والذي قاما بتأليفه \"د. إسماعيل مروة، نزيه الخوري\" في حوالي (126) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (القاص عبد الله عبد) حيث كان عبد قد استقى قصصه من الواقع الذي عاشه وتدور أغلبية قصصه حول التناقض الاجتماعي والإنساني والجشع واقتناص اللحظات السعيدة. وكتب «عبد الله عبد» (38) قصة قصيرة جمعت في ثلاث مجموعات هي «مات البنفسج» و«النجوم» و«السيران» و«لعبة أبناء يعقوب»، كما كتب (48) قصة للأطفال جمعت ضمن مجموعتين قصصيتين هما «العصفور المسافر» و«الطيران الأول».
