في الكتاب هذا فوائد استفدتها من المدارسات التي جمعتني على مرور السنين بكثير من العلماء ؛ لقد تفضل علي روجر إيمس وتشاد هانسن من وقتهما الثمين ولهما بالغ الأثر في فهمي للفلسفة الصينية، وحددت أعمالهما العظيمة وجهتي في ذلك الميدان، وداوم أريندام تشاكر أبارتي وروي برت ومارك سيدرتس وستيفن فيليبس وريتشرد سورابيه على مناقشتي في الفلسفة الهندية مصابرين الرد على كثير من رسائلي الإلكترونية السريعة ومكالماتي الهاتفية التي تتناول القضايا الكبرى وأتى فرانك كلوني وجوليوس ليبنر ولوري باتن بنظرات محيطة بالمسائل الكبرى في الفكر الهندي، أما عمل يوناردون غانيري فلا يوفيه الثناء حقه لما فيه من نظر دقيق في منطق الهنود ولغتهم.
