نكتفي بالقول إن التجربة الشعرية للشاعر توفيق أحمد والتي امتدت على مسار يقارب أكثر من ثلاثين عاما من الكتابة والإنجاز تستحق من النقد أن يرمم قصوره في التعامل معها، وتستحق وقفة مفصلة معها تبين قيمتها وتضعها في مسارها في حركة شعر الحداثة في سورية، طالما أننا نعتمد منهجا نقديا علميا بعيدا عن التقريض والمديح، يسعى إلى أن يعتمد لغة علمية موضوعية، ويتخذ من صدور الأعمال الشعرية للشاعر مسوغا نقديا آخر للدراسة والنقد.
