قامت الدراسة بتقديم تصورها النظري حول علاقة المكان بعناصر السرد الأخرى، كمنطلق تعتمد عليه في الدرس التحليلي. فبحثت علاقته ببنية الوصف الروائي التي يقع على محورها، وعلاقته بالزمن وصياغة الحدث وخلق الشخصيات وصنع منظور ما لوجهة النظر. ثم أشرنا لعلاقته بالنوع الروائي، ودخوله في إشكالية اللغة والمرجع، الكلمات والأشياء، وتحاول هذه الدراسة استكشاف معالم المكان الروائي، في ضوء آليات اشتغاله السردي.
