مع تطور الأوضاع المطالبة بالتغيير في اليمن، تراجع الحديث عن الحوثيين والحرب في شمال اليمن، وهي التي شغلت الرأي العام العربي والإسلامي طوال الأعوام السبعة الماضية 1994-2011. غير أن تراجع الإهتمام لا يعني نهاية الموضوع، ذلك أن الظاهرة الحوثية لم تتراجع أو تنته إلى فشل أو إنهيار، كما أن تغير الأوضاع في اليمن لن يؤدي منذ مطلع إلى نهاية الحركة الحوثية، بل لعله سيزيدها ضراوة وتصميما طالما أن الأسباب التي أدت إلى ظهورها ما تزال قائمة، بل لعلها تطورت كثير.
