Overview
بعد انتهاء الحرب الباردة ازداد نشاط حلف شمال الأطلسي في الوطن العربي بشكل واضح، سواء عمليات الشراكة والحوار الإستراتيجي أو عمليات التدخل العسكري موضوع البحث. شكل تحول المفاهيم الإستراتيجية للعقيدة العسكرية للحلف عام 1991 وعام 2010 الأثر البالغ في صياغة سياسات جديدة، تختلف عن الأهداف التي أنشأ من أجلها الحلف سنة 1949 وعما كان عليه الحال زمن الصراع مع الاتحاد السوفييتي، وهو ما اتضح جليا في حالتي العراق وليبيا.
