يتحدث الكتاب عن النانوتكنولوجي حيث أن حاول الإنسان أن يكون سوبرمانا في القدرة العلمية وها هو يحاول أن يكون نصف إله في هذه الإعادة لصنع الطبيعة من جديد إنه عالم ما بعد الإنسان الطبيعي البدهي وفوق الإنسان لأنه إنسان نصفه آلة تكنولوجية ونصفه بشر حي ويتحدث المؤلف ويقول إنني إذ أقدم هذا الكتاب للتعرف بهذا العلم لم أبذل جهدا إبداعيا فيه وإنما هو مادة صحفية أو إعلامية جمعتها عبر مختلف وسائل الإعلام بدءا من الصحافة الورقية إلى الصحافة الإلكترونية فالإنترنت وإن مادة هذا الكتاب هو للقاري العام ولهذا بقي في حدود المعطيات المباشرة ولم يتعمق بالتقنيات الهندسية ولا بالمعطيات الفيزيائية والكيميائية ليكون في متناول الجميع.
