يتناول كتاب (الإرهاب الغربي) حيث يتناول المفكر الفرنسي الأكثر جدلا \"روجيه غارودي\" جذور الإرهاب الثقافي والسياسي والإجتماعي بالعودة إلى 3 آلاف سنة مضت وصولا إلى الحضارة الأمريكية الحديثة، التي تستخدم الآن مقولة \"محاربة الإرهاب\" لضرب كل أعداء الولايات المتحدة. يبدأ الكتاب بمقدمة تتناول تداعيات أحداث (11) سبتمبر وموقف غارودي منها، ثم ينقل إلى توطئة تشكل سيرة صغيرة عن تاريخ تحولات غارودي الفكرية وأسبابها يقول: \"نعم أصبحت مسلما، دون أن أتنكر ليسوع أو إلى ماركس، على العكس فقد أردت أن أبقي على إخلاصي لهما، وكما في جميع الأديان (والتي هي طريقة من طرق الإعتقاد، بينما الإيمان طريقة من طرق الفعل)
