تتحدث رواية \"حكاية وراء كل باب\" أن ظل الجنس من المواضيع المسكوت عنها والمحظور الكلام فيها لعقود كثيرة ونتيجة لذلك انتشرت الآراء والأفكار التي روجت لمفاهيم خاطئه أدت إلى مشاكل جنسية وراء كل باب فهي موجودة في أغلب البيوت بين الأزواج وأحيانا تكون أزمة لأحد أفراد الأسرة وتعصف بهدوء الحياة الأسرية وهذه مجموعة من المشاكل التي تكررت أمام د. منى رضا (أستاذ الطب النفسي) ووضعت يديها على مناطق الخلل في معالجتها بعضها أسبابه طبي ولكن أغلبها ثقافي مجتمعي نتيجه غياب الوعي بأهمية التنشئة السليمة والوعي السليم بالصحة الجنسية فكريا وعضويا.
