وضع العديد من الكتب الفلسفية التي كتبها بالعربية، فتضمنت مجهوده الفلسفي الكبير وقد أضحت مراجع هامة وكتبا كلاسيكية من الكتب التي تدرس في مرحلة التعليم العالي.كتبه الثلاثة الأولى : تاريخ الفلسفة اليونانية، تاريخ الفلسفة الأوروبية في العصر الوسيط، ثم تاريخ الفلسفة في العصر الحديث وهي عبارة عن تاريخ عام للفلسفة علي وكتاباه الأخيران العقل والوجود والطبيعة وما بعد الطبيعة وهما عبارة عن بحث كامل للفلسفة، معتمدا مبادئ أرسطو الأكويني وقد أعد بحثا عن الأخلاق وأتمه وكان هذا الكتاب على وشك الطبع عندما سقط المسكن الذي، كان يقطنه، ففقده تحت الأنقاض، مع ترجمة عربية لعدة نصوص مختارة من مؤلفات كبار الفلاسفة. كما ترك كرم، أيضا. قام بنشره الأستاذان مراد وجيه ويوسف شلالا بعد وفاته في القاهرة عام 1966 أما المحاضرات التي معجما فلسفيا.
